Today we took a quick trip to Shibuya station to capture some time-lapse of a very busy intersection in Tokyo. This was my first time trying time-lapse with my camera so I wasn’t sure how it would come out. Everyday I am amazed at how many people are in Tokyo. Hopefully you can get a sense by watching every couple of seconds how many people cross this one intersection daily. I have been to time square in New York and Shibuya feels much more crowded, especially on a weekday in the afternoon.

Super cool Angelo!
Sugoii!!! backwards part is cool. was the traffic signal causing the yellow lens flare before the crossings? cant wait to see more!!
did you reverse it halfway through?
Yes. I only captured about 600 frames for about 5mins or so. This gave me about 50 sec of footage. Since it’s about the passage of time I wanted to show it in reverse as it plays back to the beginning. Plus I wanted to hear more of the track. 🙂
Nice video.
